Redash
Slide
Put Redash dashboards on the big screen so the queries your team already relies on stay visible without anyone opening a browser tab.
What you can do
- Display dashboards – Show any published Redash dashboard on your devices
- No sign-in on the device – A public share link loads without a Redash account
- Scheduled refresh – The dashboard’s own refresh interval keeps the device current
- Multiple dashboards – Put different dashboards on different slides
Set it up
Redash dashboards are displayed using Displayful's built-in Website slide — there's nothing to connect.
Create a public share link
- In Redash, open the dashboard and make sure it is Published — drafts can't be shared.
- Click the share icon.
- Enable public access. Redash generates a secret URL of the form
/public/dashboards/<token>. - Copy that URL.
The secret URL is readable by anyone who has it, with no sign-in. Treat it like a password, and revoke it from the same dialog if a device is ever decommissioned.
Set the refresh interval
Redash refreshes a public dashboard on the schedule configured for the dashboard itself, so set that in Redash rather than trying to force it from the URL. Something in the one-to-five minute range suits a wall display.
Add it as a slide
- In your slideshow, click Add slide → Website.
- Paste the public dashboard URL.
- Save. The dashboard will render on your devices.
Most Redash installs are self-hosted. The device loads the dashboard directly, so it needs to reach your Redash host — an instance behind a VPN or on an internal network won't render unless the device is on that same network.
